We were two small families so a house shower room would have been good rather than having to go in to one of the other bedrooms for a shower etc not a massive deal if your one family and there is an extra toilet! "We had a fantastic few days in Brixham, so glad we booked to stay here. The views are spectacular, even on a grey November day. The apartment is well equipped and has everything you need. Hot shower, comfortable bed, yards from the sea, Shoalstone pool (which had just closed for the winter but a few brave souls were in the sea) and the South West Coast Path. A bonus to have free off road parking. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Thank you Kevan and Gemma, we will definitely be back! "

"The steps you encounter are not mentioned. And are near vertical. A ladder brings you up to the back garden. The door to the property is the only way in or out and the only daylight. Steps down to the kitchen. 3 foot fall to bathroom and dungeon style chamber. Lightning is extremely limited and everything is painted black. No steps provided to get into bed. Great if you’re in your 20’s and don’t want to sleep. Great if you want a swinging party of 6 guests. Not great if you’re in your 50’s...
