They originally didn’t give us the cottage that was was advertised online , but when I returned to the front desk and showed them the picture of the cottage we were supposed to have,they did give us that one We enjoyed our stay "

"We stayed here on a road trip for our wedding anniversary. Location was incredibly romantic, with gorgeous views from the hot tub. The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and well-furnished. The neighborhood is quiet too! I want to share one small complaint—the communication left much to be desired. The property is in a remote location up beautiful, winding mountain roads. (Note: the drive is a little harrowing if you aren't used to that kind of road.) Due to being so far out there, map apps do not...

"This property location is Everything. Not only could we comb the beach, we could soak in sunsets as well. Conveniently located a few minutes north of Cambria and a few minutes south of Hearst Castle. We had fantastic communication with our host and had all questions answered immediately. It was also refreshing to see that there were accommodations for kids and babies. Overall we had a great time. Would stay again 10/10!"

"The property was beautiful, well equipped with everything needed and so very pleasant. The outside gardens and deck made it feel all the more spacious. We enjoyed having breakfast out front in the morning and hanging out on the deck in the afternoons. It is a perfect retreat. Vivian was a lovely host. It couldn't have been a more special place. "The only great thing about this listing were the beds. It was next to the main road entering Carmel so it is noisy and the property is actually not a home (this site is called vacation rentals by owners, right?) it is a run down inn. The bathroom has not been renovated in ages and the drain let off a sulphur scent that could be smelled in the bedroom. The description mentions an outdoor terrace but it is just an unappealing space off the parking space."

"We really enjoyed the accommodations and the amenities (hot tub, yard with table and chairs, hot water, nearby hiking trails, TV, etc). The owners really made our day by leaving a bottle of champaign. Don't know if that was a gift from the previous renters, but either way it was appreciated! Highly recommend this rental if you are looking for a peaceful getaway."
