"Although a bit older hotel, the room is large and it’s very clean. The staff is excellent and very helpful at the hotel and very knowledgeable about the area as far as good local places to eat and things to do. If we come back to Anchorage AK we definitely would stay here again. The Anchorage Visitor Center and City Trolley Tours is less than 1/2 walk from the hotel. Also, we are staying here late June, when the sunlight is present 23+ hours a day, the blackout curtains did there job!"

"This hotel is special. I almost didn't want to write a review knowing it will quickly become an establishment hard to get a room at. The Aviator Hotel is, without any question personally, the nicest hotel in its category. The rooms are well appointed with extreme attention to detail. The light knobs are easy to operate, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were high end. The bathrooms were like new as well as all of the furniture. The room has its own espresso maker and the leather accents around the room were so much fun. I wish I had more time to stay, because it truly is a special hotel for the area. "

"This place Had seen better days and suffered a fire couple of years ago. They were in the process of remodeling. But the room was comfortable and clean. The staff was amazing, very friendly and accommodating. Centrally located near restaurants convenience stores and gas stations. The TV screen was dark and couldn't figure out how to lighten it. But Fred, maintenance guy and driver came to the rescue. He was very nice and easy to talk to. We had several interesting conversations during my three days stay. Everybody greeted me with a smile and got to be on a first name basis with everybody. Really enjoyed my stay at this place! The continental breakfast was a bonus and made for a great start to the day for our adventures!"
