"A rustic cottage with large balcony to enjoy the bushland where we were joined by a local kookaburra and cockatoo. Small view to the water. Bottle of wine to greet us was appreciated. Main bed comfy. Sadly only stayed 1 night out of 3, due to earthworks construction right next door starting at 8am. Not the owner's fault but should advise anyone staying. "

"Stunning views, lovely family friendly layout and beach just across the road. We particularly enjoyed the cockatoo and kookaburra visitors to the veranda. Property was clean and shower was amazing. Thanks for a wonderful trip. "

"The house was good but the cleaner's could of cleaned it better before we came, since the owner pays them to do a good job. Personal I would cut the shubs out near the front door and maybe some trees down due to all the leaves around on the deck in case of fires or maybe cover the deck as you couldn't sit out side. Don't get me wrong the house was fantastic with the people we had very spacious not on top of each other which was really good and the owner was great to contact if we needed...

"Our family group of 8 adults and 5 children had a great short break at The Lodge. The location could not be better for our needs and the house provided everything to make for a memorable stay. "

The listing says the house is small but there is plenty of living space and the bedrooms are a great size with plenty of storage - you could easily fit a portacot in each of the double bedrooms. Plus the location is perfect. We loved walking to the beach and everywhere else. "

"This is a very comfortable property - perfect for our extended family group, ranging in ages from 9-70. We loved the pool, proximity to fishing spots, beaches, cafes etc. Great kitchen and barbecues to cook for a crowd and it was lovely to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the ocean views while having our evening meal or drinks. "We loved staying at the lovely house close to Point Roadknight beach. House itself is a gorgeous mid century style original home. Basic, but comfortable. Great deck for kids to play outside, as well as a little cubby. And location couldn’t be any better for beach access. "
