"Really friendly staff "

"Food, staff and room were great. All staff were pleasant and friendly and the meal I had was really good quality. The room was beautiful and a great size, separate seating area and huge bathroom with double shower. The noise behind my room however, was terrible, bottles and rubbish being emptied day and night (tried to sleep late afternoon following a long drive). "This review is so 50/50. The pub is beautiful, old and in my opinion one of the nicest places in Worcester (old town). The staff were friendly, chatty and went out of there way to help. The room was directly above the garden tent, Friday night was not the time to book if you want sleep! This appears to be Worcesters local hot spot and was loud to say the least. "Hotel dining was not open so wasn’t able to try it. Check closing days before booking if you want to eat there. Room was clean, comfortable and warm. Recommended it to colleagues who have also booked rooms and been equally happy. Sadly couldn’t use recently due to price increase at half term. "
