"My friends and I enjoyed our time at Sammy's Farm. Very peaceful place with all you need ! Special mention to Nappie and Benito, the two chickens on the property who bring a bit more fun to the stay :)"

"Wir haben uns sehr zu Hause gefühlt, denn die Gegend und die Art, das Haus einzurichten und zu bewirtschaften entsprechen unserem Geschmack und Stil sehr, den wir in unserem eigenen Landhaus in Deutschland leben. Auf englisch könnte man das von Liane sehr gut verwaltete Anwesen der freundlichen Gastgeber wohl am besten mit 'Slow Tourism' umschreiben. Wir kommen gern wieder!"

"Took wife, daughter and her friend. It was a long way from the nearest autoroute but a lovely drive through France. It took about 7 hours from Caen (will fly to Bergerac next time) The farmhouse was beautiful, clean and spacious. Comfy beds, well-catered kitchen, good WiFi. Nearby (1k walk) Monpazier had everything we needed, 2 x Boulangerie, v important, lots of bars, especially the Bier de la Bastide. "The house is beautifully restored…better in person than in the pictures. Rachel snd Fred were very helpful hosts and stay nearby. The whole experience was wonderful - beautiful house in a charming village with option to take daily walks. Other villages just 5-10km away with grocery stores and restsurants- notably Les Arques, Catus and St Médard. Great water sports at Le Lac Vert in Catus. The house also has beautiful gardens and pool with stunning views of neighboring countryside."

"We had a wonderful time at the gite. It is beautifully maintained with everything that you need. Comfy outside furniture and comfy beds! The pool area was very relaxing and quiet. Evelyn and Alain are great hosts and were on hand for anything we needed weather it be a restaurant recommendation or accompanying us to the vets to get our dogs sorted for coming home! "Stayed for 5 days with our children 12 and 15. House and pool beautiful, immaculate. So peaceful. Everything you need. The only thing I would say is that we didn’t realise from the listing that two of the three bedrooms are outside of the main house on another level down some outside steps, although still attached to the house. This could affect a family if their children were much you her than ours. Great stay and would definitely return."

"Stayed for 2 nights as part of a road trip around France. Nice clean site, helpful staff, out of season so very quiet. Like 3 of the other hotels we stayed in during this trip, the swimming pool was not open when we tried to use it despite it being advertised, but otherwise all good"

"Great location, lovely pool! The rooms are spacious. It would. We didn't know until we left that there were some breakfast products available in the building next to the pool. Also, there wasn't any info on the gym. A bit more comprehensive info in English (probably other languages too) would really help. Also, check in time of 5pm is really late, and check out of 10 is too early. I appreciate they need to clean a whole apartment, but its difficult to work with those times."
