"We loved the old school building renovated with an eye for detail and all modern comfort. The location is great, half an hour's walk from the beach. Lekeitio is a pleasant town. A wonderful base to get to know the Basque nature and culture. Anne and Kerman are very hospitable and were always available if necessary. We enjoyed our moments together...their stories and hospitality !!"

"This cottage is actually newly built, very clean, modern design and well-stocked. I found it to be a great location to visit many places in the Basque region ranging from coast to city to mountains. It was nice not to have to drive out and back in to a city every day. I would stay here again. "

"For anybody thinking that this will be a 'charming' rustic experience - please reconsider! We were unable to stay here - the place was musty and dark with poor cooking facilities and a layout that didnt work for us - the terrace was unusable due to mosquitoes and we couldnt open windows to air it out for same reason. We are used to camping and would prefer a tent to this accommodation. At 200 Euros a night it is hardly BUDGET - and fell well below our expectations. We didnt even last 15 minutes...

"We met the owner at a nearby hotel since the short drive up to the house would have been difficult to find. Lasarte-Oria is not a tourist Mecca but San Sebastián isn’t too far away and taking the train is the best way to get there. "The entire experience was absolutely fantastic. We had such a great time, and were only sorry that we hadn't been able to book more time here. The house is wonderfully laid out, especially for larger groups or if you had multiple families. Every amenity you might need. The views are amazing. We even walked down into Getaria one afternoon (the walk back up would be a hike, but doable! Best not done in the dark though). All in all, fantastic on every level. Would absolutely recommend."

"This was a perfect home for our group of 6 (2 young children, 2 parents, and 2 grandparents) tucked away in the hills. It was conveniently located for day trips in the surrounding area. We spent wonderful afternoons lounging in the yard reading and watching the horses graze in the pasture right below us. Great kitchen, comfortable beds, and pleasant rooms for relaxing and visiting. The drive up the narrow road leading to the home seemed surreal. Couldn’t recommend the place more."

"Das Haus ist ein Teil einer Einheit mit drei Apartments. Alles weitere ist wie angegeben. Die grosse Terasse ist nicht einsehbar, so dass man den Ausblick ungestört genießen kann. Fernando und seine Frau sind hervorragende, sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Man kann direkt vom Haus loswerden und ist unmittelbar im Naturschutzgebiet. Fußläufig gibt es zwei gute Restaurants (falls man nicht kochen möchte). Insbesondere Goiko Benta ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Unterkunft ist für Fahrer von Sportwagen /...

"Okana is een prettige woning. Goede bedden, fijne badkamers en heel veel ruimte. Tuin en bossen rondom de woning zijn prachtig. Alleen de houtzagerij die in de buurt ligt geeft van s'morgens vroeg tot s’avonds laat geluid. Daar heb je binnen in de woning geen last van, maar wel buiten op het terras. Ook hoor je iedere stap van de bovenburen vanwege de houten vloeren. Ontvangst was zeer hartelijk ."
