Lasarte-Oria is not a tourist Mecca but San Sebastián isn’t too far away and taking the train is the best way to get there. It’s amazing that this house is on the VRBO rental program with its beautiful classy decor and art. Once you arrive, you’re not aware that you’re so close to Lasarte. "We loved the old school building renovated with an eye for detail and all modern comfort. The location is great, half an hour's walk from the beach. Lekeitio is a pleasant town. A wonderful base to get to know the Basque nature and culture. Anne and Kerman are very hospitable and were always available if necessary. We enjoyed our moments together...their stories and hospitality !!"

"The place is located in a very nice rural property, where you can enjoy nature, but not far from groceries and restaurants and a well located place to travel to the coast. The manager is very nice. The apartment is well equipped and we enjoyed the evening and breakfast on the terrace."

"Das Haus ist ein Teil einer Einheit mit drei Apartments. Alles weitere ist wie angegeben. Die grosse Terasse ist nicht einsehbar, so dass man den Ausblick ungestört genießen kann. Fernando und seine Frau sind hervorragende, sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Man kann direkt vom Haus loswerden und ist unmittelbar im Naturschutzgebiet. Fußläufig gibt es zwei gute Restaurants (falls man nicht kochen möchte). Insbesondere Goiko Benta ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Unterkunft ist für Fahrer von Sportwagen /...

"The entire experience was absolutely fantastic. We had such a great time, and were only sorry that we hadn't been able to book more time here. The house is wonderfully laid out, especially for larger groups or if you had multiple families. Every amenity you might need. The views are amazing. We even walked down into Getaria one afternoon (the walk back up would be a hike, but doable! Best not done in the dark though). All in all, fantastic on every level. Would absolutely recommend."
