"Our entire stay was fantastic, the home owner Suze was amazing in helping with our arrangements for our small wedding - private chef Adrian was superb, housekeepers were amazing at helping us understand how the house worked and also took in our shopping! We even managed a couple of dips in the very fresh sea to start the day! A magical break enjoyed by all.. We have recommended to several friends and family and will hopefully stay again soon. "

Stylishly converted traditional barn with bright spacious feel

"Our family of 3 and our dog stayed at Lower Marsh Farm in July 2024. Would highly recommend. We had a fantastic stay: converted barn was perfect, had everything you would want, fabulous bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed, secluded enclosed garden etc. Amenities on site were excellent and we used the tennis court and table tennis room several times (equipment all there for you to use). Owners/staff very helpful and welcoming but not intrusive. Lovely walks on site too."

Situated down a narrow access road, which proved difficult at times but within easy driving distance to Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Dartmouth. "There is so much that could be said about this wonderful property. The views are spectacular, the property its self is truly unique and a very special place. Meals on the terrace were wonderful, watching the sea and being visited by so much wildlife. Our children loved the peacocks and the fish in the pond and watching the many seagulls! "The property was spacious and clean with amazing views over the river however there were slight difficulties with the parking it is in a lay by round a bend on a busy Rd going past the property although the host advises parking outside to drop luggage off but this was not easy to do. "This is a lovely house in a great location with wonderful views over the cliffs and the sea. Quiet hamlet but good places nearby for shopping, lunches out, alternative bays for swimming. Walks from the door and other locations. Very nicely designed and equipped house. Suits group of friends, with indoor and rooftop places to chill and admire the view. Likely also good for a family. Owners are lovely and always very helpful"

"The house has been decorated to a very high standard, but the reason for my booking was the use of the pool. The property is sold as a pool holiday (rare in the UK), but the pool was not usable in a safe manner, with loose tiling and sharp edges. You advised me that there were 'a few loose tiles', but only after payment had been made. The tiling around the pool is a trip hazard in several places and the mosaic tiling in the pool itself clearly has not been maintained for years, with hundreds of...

"There was black mould in bedroom 3 and in the bathroom. This meant we had to move the bed as black mould is dangerous. The fridge was off when we arrived and took a long time to chill. There were no teaspoons. No hand towels anywhere and the bed springs had gone in 2 beds. The sheets were so old they were rough and bobbly. "This property is ideal for visiting the north and south coast of Cornwall. We stayed for 10 nights , our only problem was drying clothes. The weather wasn't very good so trying to dry anything for 8 people was difficult. Tracy was easily contactable if we had any problems. Booking in was easy. Accommodation was great for 8."

"We had a lovely stay at this cottage in Looe, It was in a good location for the town and it's shops and restaurants. The walk up the hill is not for the faint hearted but that's Looe! "Lovely place, perfect for us. Clean and comfortable. Definitely will stay again. Was worried about parking but no need as about 5-6 big parking places round the back. 2 mins to shops in Mutley and about 10-15 min walk in to Plymouth. "

"We had the best time onboard, we are a family of 5 staying 4 nights, there was plenty of room and the cleanliness and facilities were outstanding, glen and Emma are so lovely and brought fresh bottles of water, milk, bread. The kids loved the cereal selection and I adored the nespresso every morning on the quiet deck. The weather wasn't great but that didn't matter, it was a short walk to catch the ferry to the Barbican and from there we visited mount edgecombe and went on boat tours. The bridge...

Nice hotel, problems with heating though.

"Great hotel with comfortable bed. Not a huge room and bathroom is small but adequate. Heating wasn't working though and was making a racket when on and blowing cold air. Maintenance took a look but couldn't fix it. Ended up with a small oil filled radiator which warmed the room fine."

"Our check in was seamless. The receptionist was welcoming and nothing is too much trouble Our room was absolutely beautiful and the doggie welcome pack and bed was lovely touch We ate in the restaurant last night. All staff were attentive and friendly The food was superb. Well done Everyone. Brilliant stay ,will definitely book again "

Fantastic, clean and comfy hotel in great location

"Absolutely loved this hotel. Receptionist on check in was very helpful and pleasant, nothing was too much trouble. The room was fabulous, one huge room with queen bed and a totally separate room with a single bed and basin. Having a partner who snores like a freight train, the separate bedroom was a godsend. Lovely breakfast both cooked and continental. Great location right on the Hoe and 5 minutes walk to The Barbicon. Quick walk to city centre. Everything was really clean and the towels were large and fluffy. If not travelling would have stayed for a week. £10 to park overnight with paid street parking also available. Parking might be a bit tight in high season. Overall a great stay."
