The layout and amenities of the cabin were so cozy, and the location was a major plus, providing a plethora of activity options being 10 minutes from Cloudcroft, 45 minutes from Alamogordo/White Sands, an hour from Ruidoso, and a 60 second walk from a fantastic hiking trail- Chippeway Spur. We will definitely be back! "

"My husband and I wanted to get away for the weekend for his birthday as well as a babymoon before the arrival of our daughter. This place was extremely comfortable and clean-a perfect getaway for 2. The view from the porch is stunning. There are several steep roads to get to the property so 4WD would probably be necessary in icy conditions. We will definitely plan to come stay here again. "

"We had our daughter help with booking on her VRBO account and she said the process was very easy! The place is so well kept and has a "homey" feeling to it, the property manager was readily available, easily a phone call or a text away! Cloudcroft has always been a favorite spot of ours and this stay was one of our better ones after 40 years of marriage!! I would suggest this place to anyone who asks about it! Can't wait to go back!"

"I am Handicapped and there were a few things that need to be done if it is rented to HC tenants. The bed was too close to the wall on one side. One of the kitchen chairs was very wobbly and a fall hazard. The rug needs grippers since it slides around when you walk on it.The tub/shower was extremely slippery and there was no handrail. There was not a mirror for anyone that cant stand for long periods of time or stand at all. I would suggest a long mirror attached to bathroom door. No snow shovel...
