"Stacy is an awesome host, and her property is amazing! It has beautiful views and lots of wildlife. We had so many deer and horses stop by right outside the back door! Our kiddos had so much fun getting up close and feeding them apples. The only minor complaint I have is that there was a lot of dog hair on the couches, living room rug, and bedrooms; besides that, everything was perfect. "My husband and I wanted a quick winter getaway in the mountains (with our two dogs) - Cloudcroft was perfect for this and so was the little cabin, Grizzly’s Getaway. Grizzly’s Getaway has rustic cabin charm and all the amenities one might need for a comfortable stay.The owners, Paola and Damian, are EXCEPTIONAL HOSTS. "At first the cabin seemed great. It had everything we needed. The hot tub was awesome. The location was excellent. Lots of deer and horses roaming the area made it feel really cool. However after a few days my husband and daughter began showing bites all over their abdominal area and upper legs. On the last night it was the worst. Upon returning home we sought medical attention and were told they were definitely bed bug bites. We were horrified. We spent over $1000 on a Vrbo property that left...

"The cabin is small and cozy. Made for a perfect weekend getaway. Literally at a great trail for hiking or running. Location to town is great as well. Cannot tell you enough how much we loved this! Host was great, and very accommodating."

"I am Handicapped and there were a few things that need to be done if it is rented to HC tenants. The bed was too close to the wall on one side. One of the kitchen chairs was very wobbly and a fall hazard. The rug needs grippers since it slides around when you walk on it.The tub/shower was extremely slippery and there was no handrail. There was not a mirror for anyone that cant stand for long periods of time or stand at all. I would suggest a long mirror attached to bathroom door. No snow shovel...
