"We love La Quinta for being pet friendly and making it super easy to check in with pets. Other reviews mention imperfections here and there. While they are not wrong, this hotel fits every need. Five stars all-around for that. The included breakfast is perfectly suitable. It's walking distance to Jorge's Mexican food (steak chimichanga with red and green sauce). It's a 10 minute drive to Grindstone Lake, midtown and the dog park. We'll stay here again. "

"This is a neat hotel and a real value. The only negative was my bed seemed a little lumpy and slanted. Otherwise everything was great. The towels were wonderful, the breakfast was very nice and the artwork throughout the property (in our room, in the gift shop and in the dining area) was wonderful. Clean, safe and comfortable. The location is very convenient for getting to White Sands National Park (coming from Guadalupe Mountains). "
