"Cute comfortable cottage on the quiet side of the island near Salt Pond Bay and Coral Bay. It has two beds- both really comfortable - one in the kitchen and one on the porch. Insects not a problem with fans and a mosquito net outside. Beautiful view. Bananaquits at the feeder every morning were a delight. So comfy and easy. 4WD a must to explore all the beaches, but you can see many without it. Don't miss Thursday open Mic at Miss Lucy's and Skinny Legs. (We can't decide on or favorite beach),...

"If you can get past the challenges that have been described by others- 80 steps down, non potable water, no paper in the toilets, small space with only outside access from kitchen to bedroom, occasional electricity outage- then this is a wonderful place. The view is magnificent and from the deck it feels like having the entire valley and bay to yourself. A place to get away from civilization. "

"Liked the fact that there were two separate apartments but could gather in the evening on the top deck and enjoy the views. My brother and his adult son stayed in one unit and my husband and I were in the other. The area was quiet and felt safe. It was easy to find with the directions given. "What an amazing stay! Everything about this place was top notch. Hidden away on the East side, away from all the tourists. The pool was great and Lorraine made sure we had everything we needed. Conveniently located by some awesome hidden gems for snorkling and hiking. Makes you feel like a local for a few days. Everyone was extremely friendly and there to help."

"10th visit to STJ and Husband and I had a first kid free get away and Salty Kisses was perfect! Great chairs, yeti cooler, comfy bed, plenty of nice towels, well appointed kitchen, great grill, and lovely decor!!!! Peaceful and perfect! Thank you Amanda!! "

"Enjoyed our stay - kitchen was well equipped, washer/dryer, comfy bed, plenty of linens, and enjoyed the back deck. Host was very helpful when we had questions or concern. Clean and thoughtfully appointed. Downsides: location difficult for taxi driver to find us, and the roosters - for a while in early morn, a brief period about 3 AM (?), and pretty much all afternoon. We sort of adjusted, and other than those times, neighborhood was completely quiet."

"Tommy was great to work with. Loved being able to walk to the beach. Great for sunsets. Cottage worked great for us. Note that there is no view from the cottage. It’s tucked away. If you’re looking for a place with a view this is not it. Also note the Peter Bay beach is small (narrow). Great for sitting in chairs. Not great for swimming (too rocky). But this worked for us. Enjoyed our stay."

"so this property isn't in a very walkable location. it's on a hill so it's nearly impossible to go up and down by foot. i enjoyed my stay for the most part although the property could have been a little bit more clean. the staff was great though"

"Property was clean. The front desk and concierge was always available, to call a taxi or give you a ride back to your room. Just be prepared to walk up and down stairs. "

"I love the view in the morning when you wake up and look out and see the beautiful scenery. The staff are friendly and helpful. Having an ocean view room is wonderful. When you leave for the day and come back the room is clean each and every day. Walking to and from the property is great in any direction. There’s so much to see and visiting the different stores and restaurants was wonderful. If you love to walk you will love the scenery as well from the waterfront to Main Street in town. Driving around is just as beautiful as well."
