"We had such a great time and comfortable stay. The house worked out great for the 8 of us and we could have easily had a few more stay with us. There were 3 rollout beds and a couch we didn't even use for sleeping. The lake and views are gorgeous, the kitchen and pantry was well-equipped, ample parking, so peaceful. Great proximity to BS, to town and a nearby gen store. Communication with April was excellent as well. We loved not having to strip beds or clean or anything -- we always wonder why...

The location is just up the hill from the start/finish line of the Millinocket Marathon as well as all that main street has to offer. This is an ideal home base for hiking, rafting, or even a snowmobiling group. It's not fancy, but a comfortable space with all you need for exploring the incredible beauty of the surrounding woods, waters and mountains. "

"Perfect place for our visit to Baxter State Park. Enjoyed our stay. It was fine for us, but listing noted that each room had a full size and twin. One had a full and twin, one two twins. Just be alert when booking! Lots of room to spread out; enjoyed the John Ford memoirs!"
