"The property was clean and well stocked. The mountain views from the porch and interior (including the shower!) were great. The host was very responsive and accommodating. It is quite a walk from the downtown and train station, but nice and quiet. Highly recommended!"

"Best apartment in the area! Stunning views surrounded by amazing waterfalls, breathtaking mountains and gorgeous goats. Apartment was very spacious, clean, had some thoughtful touches and had all the things you need. It looks better when you are there. Host was attentive, friendly and very helpful. We had a slight issue with the key safe but it was resolved in speedy time. Definitely would recommend. 5* slight"

"Communication with the property manager was very timely and the check in instructions were easy to follow and allowed easy entry when we arrived late in the evening. The managers made a point to meet with us in person the next day to answer any questions. The location is PERFECT, right by the trains and gondolas. The home was clean and well furnished with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in Grindelwald!!!"

"The view from our balcony was amazing! Having a kitchen and laundry facilities was a great advantage to being able to stay on budget and enjoy relaxing while traveling. Once we found the best way to get to the town and station, the location was perfect.. We would definitely recommend it and would love to get back!"

"Don't be daunted with the fact that there isnt a grocery store or ATM in Gimmelwald! There are 2 bars across the street with pizza and drinks. A quick cable car to Murren for a Food Co-op or cable and bus to Lauterbrunnen for another Co-op which both have all you need is easy!The views, the peaceful quiet is amazing! All one hears are the bells of goats/cows. Love Love this place! comfortabnle, and very clean! Very attentive, manager onsite when we arrived! Highly recommend! "

"We spent 10 wonderful days staying at Chalet Barbara. The chalet is very clean and comfortable with everything you could need for your stay. The stunning views are worth the walk up the steep hill and the hosts who live upstairs were friendly and helpful taking us to and from the station at the beginning and end of our stay so we didn’t have to struggle with luggage. Although the apartment is close to the centre of town it is in a very quiet and peaceful location and we spent our evenings on the...
