"Lovely hotel, very helpful staff, I asked for a couple of extra items and they were so accommodating. Beautiful old building but now done to the highest standards. Fabulous breakfast too. Bed very comfortable and bathroom very clean. This was my second visit. I hope to go there again soon. "

"The Upstairs hotel was a very stylish and fun hotel just steps from the beach. The staff was really friendly and helpful! One small point is if you do book one of the small/cheap rooms, they aren't easily accessible via the lifts. You will need to go down a couple of flights of stairs which can be tough with heavy luggage. Otherwise I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Ostend!"

"We stayed for one night as we previously had a day trip last year and loved the area, so thought we would return for a night away! Fantastic location ! Right on the main high st but only a stone throw from the beach too so we will definitely return in the summer next year! The room was really comfortable and the breakfast included was perfect! The mattress on the bed was probably the softest I've ever slept on and really not my style. No 24 hour reception, in fact it closes at 6pm which is not great.
