"The hosts bent over backwards to personalise our stay, whilst respecting our privacy. From the homemade tablet, pancakes and artwork to the birthday balloons and beers, we had a lovely break. The cabin has everything you need, and the hot tub is fantastic to soak in under the stars. We just wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area more. "The hosts were horrible. At the second day of our stay the lodge ran out of gas, heating and hot water and we have 2 little children. We couldn’t cook anything after 6pm. When I had called the host named Elizabeth she didn’t pick at all. I messaged her about the issue as well and no reply. Then I had found her husbands number he too didn’t pick up and called back after a while. They said they were in a ‘concert’ whilst their lodge was out of gas. "A little gem in Scotland all off grid and powered by solar and wood burners. Excellent deco and facilities with no 3 pin electric socket so no tv and the perfect place to chill and relax especially in the wood fired hot tub. Gordon had it all fired up and by the time we had stoked it too the thermostat was showing 90 degrees and we sat like prunes for 2hrs even when it rained and sleeted it didn’t ruin the relaxation of sitting their looking over the countryside to Loch Lomond.
