"We absolutely loved this house. The size was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 6 kids. We just hung out, did a lot of fishing, hiked, and of course saw Mammoth Cave. The views were spectacular, and the upper deck was great to gather around. Only reason I gave the location 4 not 5 stars is that it is quite a ways back and up a steep hill...this was lovely for us, but may not be the best for others. "

"The owners have thought of everything. Very clean and well stocked. Sitting out on the back deck with a view of the lake was awesome. A walk down the stairs to the dock was a leg work out but well worth it. We would definitely recommend a stay at this property. "

"This property is AMAZING!! Quite, private road, perfect view of the lake, the 2nd patio was my place to be in the morning. The sunrise was breathtaking, even seen a shooting star! The bedrooms....there is so much room!! Definitely coming back with my entire family for a longer time to enjoy the house and all it has to offer. A weekend isn't long enough!!"

"This lake home is as beautiful and welcoming as the pictures show! The only difference (but positive difference) is in the pictures it shows on a hillside down to the lake which had me a little concerned traveling with children. However upon arrival I was extremely pleased to see the hill had been taken out, an area leveled and a retaining wall installed! Not only did this add safety and beauty to the property it also allowed for additional outdoor space for bochee ball or tossing a football....

"Everything was above expectations for our stay near Cave City and Mammoth Cave. The house is literally one turn away from the entrance to the park, and you are at the visitor center in 10 minutes through beautiful winding park roads. The house was very clean and the neighborhood was peaceful. There are other homes nearby but the property is large enough that you hardly notice. The home has all the amenities for a nice stay. "Don & daughter yearly bike ride. We enjoyed a fire side chat, saw the “Northern Lights”, then watched “Arachnophobia” again together. The beds were “just right” & we slept like 3 “bugs in a rug”. After a good nights sleep…we biked the 19 mile trek on the Mammoth Cave Railway bike trail. Thanks for a lovely experience.🤗"

"We enjoyed the peacefulness and seclusion of the property. Liked watching the squirrels and chipmunks and deer in the woods from the deck. There are other houses nearby but it was quiet and we still felt like we were alone. Spent a lot of time in front of the fireplace on the very comfortable couch just watching TV or on the porch enjoying the fall breeze. My only feedback would be that it would be nice to have an end table on both sides in the master bedroom, more hooks or storage in the master...

"We enjoyed our time at the Loft! We spent some time hiking to the waterfall, and it had all of the amenities we needed for cooking meals. It is geographically close to the national park, but just be mindful it is about a 40 minute drive to get there. We enjoyed being away from the crowds at the park and would pick staying here again! "

"Mike thank u for hosting. Great week and weather. Really enjoyed the rental. As disclosed the single BR had us on a schedule but no issues! Lower level access challenging for mobility impaired with stairs. Mike met us on Saturday and gave some Great tips about lake conditions. View without comparison. Well appointed kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Lots Of space. We fish so did not use TV or Wi fi. Would rent with Mike again and Plan too make this place our new annual gathering place."
