"Lovely hotel. Friendly staff and good food incl breakfast at the Skybar & restaurant. Nice touches with free complimentary mini bar and access to the spa. Very convenient for events at BP pulse arena. Only negative is some areas of the Spa incl pool and showers need a deep clean and freshen up with paint."

"Really comfortable bed, clean and simple room but had everything needed in it. AC was a massive bonus and worked really well The desk was helpful when needing extra pillows and towels etc Very smooth check in and check out Close to the arena, shopping centre and train station which worked out amazing for us when seeing a band at the arena "

"Had a lovely stay. Was able to check in early which was great. Room was clean, quiet, comfy beds. Pillows were a bit too firm, would suggest a variation to suit all preferences. Staff very friendly. HOWEVER….. I left a small mirror in the room, I phoned the hotel a few hours later once I was home and unpacked to advise them. Was told that housekeeping would check the room and could take anything from 1 day to 7 days for them to report it to reception. I phoned the next day, was told wouldn’t know until 3.00 pm that day (Monday) and I would be phoned after that time. No phone call. Made another call the next day (Tuesday) to be told it had been found, they would weigh the parcel and phone me to make payment, Heard nothing . Phoned again on Sunday, a week after first reporting. Was told it would be posted on Tuesday….. still not had a phone call. Item is not valuable but still wanted it returned. So, hotel is lovely to stay in but please don’t leave anything in your room as you won’t get it back!!! Hotel needs to sort out it’s lost item policy."

"Excellent Hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Room was clean and beds so comfy! Booked as was going to a concert at BP Pulse. So perfect location for it. Quick short walk from hotel to venue. Will be booking again for sure"

"The lodge itsself had a few rough around the edges fixtures and fittings but it was in a beautiful setting, quiet and relaxing. lots of modern gadgets within the room. Alexa in the room, sensor lights, lights for the room etc. all very modern. Farm animals outside beautiful and a lovely site for arrival and departure, food available from reception for feeding. easy check in and check out if reception is closed or in a hurry."

"It was absolutely just what we required for a one night visit. Extremely well places near British rail stations and directly on the Broad Street. Good size room, clean and well presented. Breakfast inc in the cost, thoroughly enjoyed what was a good selections. "

"I was greeted by a most welcoming lady for check in - she couldn’t have been more helpful! I explained I had a phobia of lifts and asked where the stairs were and she immediately explained she would change my room from the 4th floor to the 2nd floor for ease and that she would arrange for someone to take my luggage to my room for me. This was appreciated more than she will ever know from someone who has massive anxiety over having to potentially use a lift! I had various conversations over my stay with this lady (sorry I did not get her name) and she genuinely made my stay better than could have been expected from her warm and friendly approach to hospitality especially as I was travelling alone. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, the bed incredibly comfortable and so quiet at night! I returned to my room from running the Birmingham Half Marathon and a lady had just finished servicing room - she was lovely and chatted to me about my run and again couldn’t have been more helpful! This hotel is absolutely value for money and will definitely stay again when in Birmingham. Thank you for making me feel so welcome! 😊"
