"This house was a great find! We were attending a wedding at Lake Hopatcong and instead of staying in a bunch of hotel rooms, we choose this home. Four spacious bedrooms, extra beds for additional guests and everything we needed to enjoy being together as a family. Having to travel from North Carolina, my husband and I had to work remotely one day during our stay. The bedrooms upstairs had nice desk space to accommodate private space for us to work. The view of the lake made the stay even more...

"The owner was very hospitable. House is spacious with living room and nice patio set on deck overlooking the lake and a small private dock right on the water. Full bathroom, washer and dryer and multiple bedrooms made it a great stay for a family. The only difficult thing is the steepness of the stairs up to the house but this elevation is also what gives you the great view of the lake. "

"Obviously recently renovated and while it was nice looking, lack of functionality left a lot to be desired. The fancy staircase was a death trap with only a partial railing and super smooth treads (don’t wear just socks when walking down). The lighting scheme was overkill with the number of switches and 30 or so fixtures on the ceiling with the switches performing different functions each time it is flipped. Way too hard to just turn a light on or off as there were so many different modes....

"We stayed here for two nights. Myself, wife and small dog. The suite was very clean and comfortable, and quiet. It is on the lower level. It was very roomy with lots of creative touches. Their was a keurig with flavored coffee and some snacks. We walked our dog to nearby park. Neighborhood felt safe. Maria gave us lots of suggestions for places to go with our dog, and even called a local restaurant to see if they allowed dogs. Thanks for hosting us! "

"Lots of room downstairs for gathering, but lighting was barely adequate. Owner was very accommodating and communicative. Needs good cleaning around window sills and under beds."
