"An old characterful house in a lovely location. Comfortable lounge with lots of seating, well-appointed kitchen downstairs. Upstairs..spacious bedrooms and bathroom. Worked well for our family of grandparents, parents and siblings and two small children to attend a family wedding nearby. Clear instructions were left. It was ideal for us."

"This is a large house, which could potentially sleep 7 in 4 bedrooms. It was very clean throughout and 2 bathrooms was helpful. It is a 35 minute walk from the city but it’s an easy walk! Taxi’s were also reasonable. Would recommend for a group!"

"Quaint cottage sums it up perfectly. The little courtyard sun trap was a real bonus. The cottage is comfortable and convenient and the hosts were happy to attend to any need. Cambridge is beautiful with a real vibe of ernest progress, we really enjoyed our stay."

"I hesitate to write negative reviews, but need to make sure the next renters understand the house properly. The House is literally attached to, and behind, the Mermaid Takeaway on Green End Road. Looking at google maps, a new unit has been built to replace the small storage shed shown, and the green space in front of the house is now the back patio of that unit (not your unit). "Stayed for a weekend to celebrate a big birthday! Friends and family gathered at the old chapel for a fantastic party. There was plenty of space for us to sit in the summer sun having a BBQ, have all 12 of us around the dining table playing a murder mystery game and rooms to play hide and seek. "Lovely rural location but easy to get to. Bedrooms and bathroom a good size. Very homely, has tea, coffee, milk and condiments supplied. There is a lovely secure field for dogs. We really enjoyed our stay."

"A good location for a quick stay. Everything was clean. Lovely bathroom, handy to have an onsite washing machine. Beds were fine. We didn’t cook during our stay, so the simple kitchen setup fit our needs. Enjoyed the large sliding patio door access to the fenced in backyard. Location is a ways away from city center, so depending on the nature of your visit that might be a consideration. Overall pleased with our visit. "
