"Lovely property with excellent staff. Everyone went out of their way to make us have an amazing experience. Only criticism was that there was a large wedding that overtook and closed the restaurant and bar over several days, which meant we often had to eat in our room. "This was a beautiful 5 star hotel. The property is gorgeous. The room is small but lovely- nice bathroom and bathtub. We had a fantastic dinner at the gourmet restaurant. Outstanding. The server was lovely. We took their shuttle into town and that was great. Got to the market and did some shopping. Concierge super helpful also. My only comment is I did not like their pillows! Please get some down pillows for those of us who feel every lump and bump. Otherwise it was a fantastic stay. The spa and indoor pool looked great but we had a very short stay. I would recommend this property highly. "

"After being in some other congested, urban areas of France it was a really nice break to stay in a hotel on the edge of town, with a nice river flowing by and lots of greenery. It took about 30 minutes to walk into the central part of town, most of which was along the river on a quiet road. "
