"We found the property to be much further from Inverness than we thought. It was difficult to find and my call to the property management company to assist with direction was never returned. It is a nice bungalow with a lovely view in a quiet setting. It was raining and cold, but the radiant heat was set low and it took overnight to be warm enough to be comfortable. There was a small electric radiant heater in the bedroom that did not provide adequate heat. We decided not to stay the next 2...

"We spent Christmas in Oak Cottage and it could not have been a more wonderful stay. Veronica was a communicative and helpful host from the get go and really went the extra mile by putting up some Christmas decorations up for us before we arrived. The cottage is just a little bit down the road from Beauly, so it's easy to get to as long as you have a car. The cottage itself is spacious and well-equipped with everything you'd need. You can also say hello to the animals on Veronica's croft which...
