"We loved our stay, just wish we could have stayed longer. We got in later than check in and Mark the owner still came to greet us and help us with our bags. He was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in the black bear hut and it was everything we needed! Definitely small, but we were expecting it to be, and if anything it added to the coziness! The owners thought of everything from snacks, tea, coffee, fresh towels, you name it. I've never seen so much wood and the decor is really nice. very very friendly staff and though it is a bit rough to get to it is worth the drive. I would stay here again in an instant. I will make one note that you should expect spotty internet, but everything else was completely excellent and absolutely worth a second trip!"

"Hotel staff was very helpful and very accommodating, we arrived very late and we picked up a meal from outside, the staff arranged a seating in the breakfast bar for us right away, very helpful this was. The room was very clean and also the beds spotless. At the time of visit, NewYear an eve we got the hotel for £62 for a family room, every where else was several hundreds.
