"Stayed in one of the family rooms in the separate building - a bunk bed downstairs and queen upstairs with en-suite. Room was clean, well-appointed and worked well to get the kids to sleep allowing adults to relax upstairs. Room service menu and quality of food were excellent. Spa and internal and external pool were great, but strict kids hours in the internal pool meant we actually had to swim/play in sub zero temperatures - which was not ideal and quite rude. "Really good stay. The staff are incredible throughout the day, regardless who is working. Everyone cares, thoughtful, kind and considerate. It's so refreshing to be handled with such care and thought. Breakfast was excellent, and a must have - proper sausages and bacon on the full english, and they have mastered the art of a poached egg! Some noise from the main road of an evening, but you can't do anything with that if you are at the front of the property and close to the road. Rare gem for parking, safe and secure in private car park. A tremendous stay, and a 10/10 hotel. A refreshing level of customer service with genuine people. Cannot recommend enough and really appreciate the work of the team there. "
