"Is about 2 miles from great lakes for graduation. Layout is different. Sleeps 11 seats 5 or 6 in the living room, big table...half bath in kitchen...is cold in the winter...have to park in the back...walk around to front.can parknon the street but not overnight. The main bathroom with tyb sbower is high but has handrail. It snowed while we were there...owner shoveled sidewalk once. Overall it suit our need..its not high end but it was nice. Plenty of towels...no wash clothes...clean.."

"This was perfect for our adult family of 5. We had only intended to stay until saturday however my son's liberty got extended and we were easily able to stay the additional time. Everything we needed was there. We were about 15 min from base. It was really a 15 min drive to almost anything we needed to go to. We did have our own vehicle. Rooms were bigger than pictured. "We stayed over the weekend to attend family events. The location is very near where we needed it to be. If you are here to go to Six Flags or Great Lakes Naval Base. You should be good as it’s about 20 minutes out. Quiet neighborhood"

"Loved the view of the lake out the big front window. Perfect place for a family getaway. Apple play on tv worked great. We set up 5 yoga mats in living room and did yoga. Great full length mirror. Cute decor. Couch was comfy and bigger than I thought it would be from the pics. Wish the bunk bed had comfier mattresses - our teen girls were complaining - but they’ll survive lol! Bring coffee for standard coffee maker if you drink coffee. And have fun! Can’t wait to go back this summer. :) "

"We needed an ample space to stay for an event we were organizing in the area. It served its purpose in this regard. The owner has done a great job creating an inviting space in an older home. The rooms are quite dark, and the bathroom lighting is less than ideal for getting ready. The master bath mirror light did not work and could not be replaced while we were there. "Our family came to visit for our son's Navy Bootcamp Graduation. This house was very comfortable. There were plenty of spaces to relax & visit with each other. The house was well equipped. The host was extremely helpful & friendly. We highly recommend this home!"

"We had an amazing stay with our family group of 30 people! The place is perfectly equipped for a large group, with plenty of kitchen utensils, beds, towels, sheets, and blankets—everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the area is so peaceful. We loved every moment and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place for a big family gathering!"

"Great customer service. Very helpful and supportive to the Navy families arriving for graduation. Despite renovations happening on our floor, the hotel was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Front desk staff were awesome, breakfast was great, lots of options to eat around the area. Mexican food on Washington in Waukegan is legit! Book it, youll be happy. "
