"Aura is clearly a well-loved and cared-for property. I liked the idea of staying someplace that wasn't a big property but would be safe and clean. The staff was so kind and welcoming. The property itself was quiet and is very near the water, so it's a block or two outside of Rotorua noise and traffic. It was easy to walk to grocery stores and such. Parking - dedicated spot for each room so easy. The pool area is a bit smaller than the photo shows but still looked nice. We were in Room 10,...

"Room was nice and big. Shelves under bathroom sink need a thorough clean and behind the radiator was quite dusty (I’m asthmatic) but other than that the room was great. The water gets really really hot in the shower but I imagine that the water in the hot springs heats the showers so just something to be aware of especially if you have a baby or young child with you."
