"This was our second stay at the Marion. It's like spending the night at the museum. You can read the history of the original owner if you spend a few minutes at the waterfront Chinese Heritage Museum. The hotel is very close to bars and restaurants on Carpenter St. that can be noisy on occasion. We have stayed in the Chapel wing both stays and we're not bothered by street noise. "First off, it would appear that the owner of the apartment matters…as our apartment was lacking greatly in many areas, while other family members stayed in a tremendously better apartment in the same complex. Our apartment in fact, despite being booked months in advance, wasn’t even ready…so we stayed in a temporary setting until the one we booked was ready.
