"Lovely place for a couple and a child. Master bedroom was lovely. Water would not allow bathing but shower was ok in hall bath. The downstairs sleeping for two adults was a little difficult. Would have been nice to know upfront that the water was not potable. Nice touches with the set dining table and toiletries. View is amazing."

Located on a busy road and the driveway is on a curve which made it a little challenging entering and exiting the property. "

This house has a very beautiful and large main bedroom suite on the first floor, perfect for my elderly in-laws. The living/dining area was extremely spacious and comfortable with gorgeous water views, and very nice furniture. Same for the deck. "We loved our stay! Dog friendly is not always easy to find and this place was amazing for our pup. Kitchen is perfectly equipped to cook breakfast and dinner. Spotless and recently updated. Tasty bakery/coffee (Farm 23) across the street. Landtrust surrounding the property for running and walking trails. Location is walkable or <5 min drive to shops and restaurants downtown. You won’t be disappointed. "

"Gray woods is a remarkable treasure. You walk in the door and feel instantly comfortable and at home. The views are stunning, the kitchen is better equipped than my own and I'm a great cook. The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable. Sunsets and sunrises are stunning, the stars are bright. We had sunshine, torrential rain, thick fog, and it was all exactly right. When sunny, we went to Popham Beach, when foggy, we snuggled in by the fire and read, and the pouring rain lulled us to sleep. It is Maine...

"We so enjoyed the house, but the view stole the show! Needs a bit of a glam up in the furniture department but everything was comfortable and clean. The property is lovely and we enjoyed the piano! We will be back for sure."

"This is the most gorgeous, family friendly home and in such a beautiful location!!!! We want to live here. We brought 4 kids for a dog sledding trip. House feels remote but is close to town. The main town of Freeport is just a few min away - nice restaurants and shopping (LL Bean flagship store). It was very cold while here and snowed 12 inches but the home was always warm. Very well stocked kitchen. On the water with spectacular views. We can’t wait to come back!! LOVE IT!! "

"Spacious and comfortable home with open floor plan. We really enjoyed our walks everyday - two blocks from crashing waves, pine trees and steps from the courts and field. It feels remote uniquely beautiful place, yet it is so convenient to stores and restaurants in Boothbay Harbor."

"It is a big house with 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. It was very clean when we arrived It is about a half mile walk into Boothbay Harbor by way of the footbridge. There are many restaurants, and shops. You can go out on boat tours from the middle of the town. Our experience was very good and be enjoyed our stay"

"This is a beautiful house with gorgeous views of the river. We enjoyed looking out and saw a pair of bald eagles several times. The house was new and clean and well stocked in the kitchen. It includes a hot tub and a washer dryer which is a nice perk. The only downside is that Vacasa was not responsive to our messages. I asked for check in information and did not receive it until I called. I also informed them that the hot tub was not accessible and had snow piled around it. We were only there...
