"My wife and I spent a long weekend in Newport and are so happy that we chose The Pell. When looking at hotels within in Newport at the end of October I was greeted with rates from $500 to $900 per night. The rooms appeared to be all small with "period" furniture, aka on the verge of being a possible questionable antique. Parking was an additional $30 to $40 charge. The Pell was recently renovated about 1.5 years ago. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. There was an actual shower with decent pressure. A Nespresso machine and small fridge. The Pell was only an 8 to 10 minute drive into the heart of Newport. We easily found street parking at $2.00 an hour"
