Horrible location with potentially homeless people lingering around right in front. Leaning on our car while trying to check in. Hotel is old and not even close to a 4* hotel. Will never stay again. Staff were very friendly and tried to be accommodating.

Restaurants not so good. Rooms excellent. Very quiet. Comfortable bed. One complaint about bathroom, no counter space. Just a pedestal sink. But all in all very nice

I thought the Hotel was good, and convenient to many places and all walking distance. Hotel breakfast was ok the bar in the evening was not available that was a disappointment, the Saturday we stayed it was a private event, understandable, but Sunday it wasn't open. Some buildings in the area where run down, but overall I enjoyed my stay and would go back again.

Overall everyone was nice and friendly. The restaurant and bar were dead. We visited the bar for a night cap and the bar manager was defensive when we asked her about the bar menu and asked her to make a drink that wasn't on the menu. The hotel is across the street from a soup kitchen and there were lines of people waiting for food across the street.

The stay was just ok. For a hotel across from a soup kitchen and with a noticeable amount of unhoused individuals loitering nearby, there should be better security measures in place (e.g., a door person late night, required card swipes for access to the building, etc.). Our tv did not have cable and that was only discovered late night when no one was available to remedy the issue.

Very simple (but appropriately so) classical hotel...nice condition and layout...rooms good size and classically decorated yet w modern amenities...front desk staff helpful but unpolished...valet option was BIG benefit and reasonably priced...good downtown location but quiet inside hotel
