"My booking got cancelled by the host on the day that I was about to arrive. Can you imagine all the stress that my family and I had been through trying to find a place to stay at the last minute? My holiday became a nightmare. Inadequate communication from the host, it always me trying to contact the host a day before the arrival date and on the day (we were driving from Melbourne to Adelaide). "It was a great house for a group of people loved the area. some maintenance is needed - Toilet leaking on floor cistern broken ,running out of water while in shower ,9 people unable to use toilet in the morning the manager addressed this quickly but water pressure took a long time to come through ,a better pump is needed, shower fan not working ,a little garden maintenance .As a food safety supervisor I do not recommend leaving opened food in fridge and pantry ,you don't know how long it has...

"The main room with the bed was well appointed with lots of lovely little touches. Pod machine, chrome cast on tv, king bed, beautifully decorated. The outdoor sitting area was lovely and relaxing and the toilet and bathroom modern. William our host was helpful and a pleasure to deal with. "

"In our group of four couples, 4 of us turn 70 this year. Our first celebration was this weekend away, and the accomodation didn't disappoint. Very comfortable, lots of space - we were so lucky to get our booking, and Travis was most welcoming and helpful. The house is within easy reach of wineries for meals/tastings - we would recommend Kies in Lyndoch, Kersbrook Wines and Mt Bera. Would love to come back again when the weather allows us to make good use of the open fires, rather than the air...
