"This is a very special place. It is a mix of the historical side (bedrooms, lounge etc) with the modern (kitchen and bathrooms). When it was hot outside it was cool in the house. When it was cold outside it was warm inside ( didn't use any outside control. The little extras in the food dept were much appreciated. It was lovely to have the easter eggs and packet of dog treats too. Very welcoming house."

"Lovely house in walking distance of the town. Murphy communicated well and checked with us when he heard the was a power outage. Little touches like a lovely loaf of sourdough, butter & jam were welcomed in the morning. Also a bottle of wine and some fruit. Would definitely stay at Vita Lenta again!"

"It is generally difficult to rent first class properties in the Australian countryside, away from the coast, This house is a beautiful property for a couple to spend a few days, I recommend it for any couple, The single bathroom would make it difficult for 2 couples"

"The main room with the bed was well appointed with lots of lovely little touches. Pod machine, chrome cast on tv, king bed, beautifully decorated. The outdoor sitting area was lovely and relaxing and the toilet and bathroom modern. William our host was helpful and a pleasure to deal with. "

"Wonderful property. Quality decor, beds, fittings, kitchen . Spent a long weekend with friends. Beautiful big kitchen which was very well equipped so very social cooking. Large dining table leading into sitting room. Rooms was large, very comfortable with linked quality bathrooms. High shower heads, big baths. Good heating . Perfect setting for day trips to the vineyards and convivial meals in the evening. Very peaceful, cannot recommend this house highly enough. Best weekend rental I have...

"Lyndoch Grand is a magnificent historic building in a great central location in Lyndoch, beautifully furnished with local antiques. We stayed here as a group of 12 for 3 nights, a home base from which to explore the Barossa Valley. It's also an easy walk to the local IGA, cafes, bakeries, restaurants and brewery. The weather was extremely hot during our stay but the house was cool and refreshing. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking, and the communal areas were great for hanging out,...

"This is a great property and the Host delivered a superior experience via the provisions provided, attention to every detail and very high quality. Could not ask for more! We will certainly book this property again. Thank you"

"Beautifully presented residence, well equipped, owner meet us on arrival, supplied us with all the info we needed to make our stay perfect and then left. Beds very comfortable and the residence stayed very cool during the 40 plus temp outside. Only a 2min walk to local IGA, cafes, pub and Ministry of beer. Will definitely book again in the future. "

"Lovely peaceful place with great covered off street parking. There was slightly decreased hot water pressure. The kitchen was the most well equipped we came across. The only thing that would have made it better would be a bbq. "

"Wonderful 3 nights stay. Originally intended only one night on our way to WA but found there was so much more than we expected in the Barossa. Thankfully this is not an average boring motel. Palm Springs neon signs throughout give everything a mid century glitzy glamour and we loved it. Elizabeth and staff were great hosts, made our Easter stay relaxing. A must do are those amazing massage chairs in the spa room. Pop on the scented eye mask and let the magic happen. We hope to return one day. Thank you Elizabeth"
