"My booking got cancelled by the host on the day that I was about to arrive. Can you imagine all the stress that my family and I had been through trying to find a place to stay at the last minute? My holiday became a nightmare. Inadequate communication from the host, it always me trying to contact the host a day before the arrival date and on the day (we were driving from Melbourne to Adelaide). "Wonderful property. Quality decor, beds, fittings, kitchen . Spent a long weekend with friends. Beautiful big kitchen which was very well equipped so very social cooking. Large dining table leading into sitting room. Rooms was large, very comfortable with linked quality bathrooms. High shower heads, big baths. Good heating . "Lyndoch Grand is a magnificent historic building in a great central location in Lyndoch, beautifully furnished with local antiques. We stayed here as a group of 12 for 3 nights, a home base from which to explore the Barossa Valley. It's also an easy walk to the local IGA, cafes, bakeries, restaurants and brewery.
