"Beautiful, peaceful property. Plenty of pillows and blankets. Separate climate control in the living and bedroom areas. Sauna was great. Horses weren't out when we woke up in the morning and didn't get a reply about if they were around, they were out later though and the rest of the trip. . Snacks and drinks available. "

I definitely can see how this property would be attractive to winter enthusiasts as it is right across the street from Spirit Mountain. It was a little farther west of Duluth than we may have ideally wanted, but it was one of the few properties that was newer and had attractive photos among the listings. "It was great for our family of four. The kids loved the loft "bridge," and appreciated that there was enough space for us all to separate if we needed to. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The location is great; far enough away from towns to feel like you're away, and near enough to not spend all day driving to parks or the store. The host was appropriately communicative, gave great directions, and answered our questions promptly. We hope to come back to this cabin again!"

"My husband and I stayed in a slope side cabin so we did not get the best view (we were overlooking the parking lot). As they stated there is no indoor plumbing, But there is a nice public restroom and shower house in just up the hill. I recommend checking out the Trophy Lodge for a meal. Much better views there and fantastic food!"
