"Beautiful clean property in a good location. Beautiful roll top bath and bathroom. Unfortunately toiletries on the wall were not in easy reach while in bath. No hairdryer in room but I would imagine if we’d contacted reception they would have provided one. Not ideal. Just a few little niggles but otherwise a lovely place to stay and great breakfast. "

"We decided to stay here to use the hotel as a base but also be able to go and see the animals each day as we are annual pass holders. It wasn't great weather but we got to see so many of the animals, especially the big cats. The hotel staff were friendly and only missed cleaning our room because my husband was in it once. Breakfast wasn't so good. It was barely warm, bacon and sausages were dry and toaster wasn't set right. However, the staff were helpful and friendly."

"Staying here as the reviews looked good and it’s near the hospital where my partner’s dad is very poorly. The staff can’t do enough for us, they are so accommodating and friendly. We’ve actually just extended our stay for another evening. The hotel itself is beautiful too and the room is large and confortable and clean. Thank you staff! You’re brilliant! "

"We stayed one night so I could be at the hospital for an op at 7.00am. When checking in Alison on reception was really kind, telling my husband he could go back to the hotel and use their facilities even after check out. She even loaned us her own usb plug overnight so we could charge our devices. We have known the hotel for years, my husband went to King Edward’s school across the road, and I used to stay on business in the 1980’s and 90’s. We also held my husband’s 60th birthday party there...
