"The hotel has a wonderful location directly next to the nature reserve Lueneburger Heide. Just just have to walk a few steps to see endless fields of heather. Rooms were spacious and clean. It also has an elevator. The reason why I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is due to lack of customer service. We arrived in the evening and asked where we could dine and the receptionist recommended the onsite restaurant. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hof Tütsberg. The buildings have lots of history and the forested area is very calm and peaceful—perfect for a quiet escape. The decor is a bit dated, but everything was very clean. Breakfast was also quite good with some vegan options. One thing to note is the electric vehicle charging station is cost prohibitive at 0.60 euros per kWh (as of July 2024). Overall, a great place to stay, but consider the EV charging cost if applicable."

"Fantastic location for walks in nature. Our toilet was outside the room accross a corridor, which was not clear when we made the booking. The room had two seperated single beds. When we pushed them together to have a double bed, it became clear that cleaning was limited to visible areas. The staff was really friendly."

"Friendly and helpful staff. The interior seemed a bit worn. Picked the hotel because of the pool, but that was a bit of a disappointment. The water looked murky and we decided not to use it. A fair bit of traffic noise from the street."

Super comfy beds

"The room was beautiful and cosy. My husbands lived in Hamburg in the past and he really loved the view of the Speicherstadt from our room. The super comfy beds were a treat too. Only downsides are it’s a bit further from the town centre and ubahn which we knew at the time of booking so we walked to most places. We arrived on the weekend with a car and there was not really a convenient drop off location. Parking nearby was quite expensive. I would’ve liked a kettle or coffee machine that dispensed hot water too but that doesn’t seem to be common in hotel rooms in Germany from what I’ve noticed. "

Our first stay in a sustainable hotel.

"We went to Hamburg for a family weekend and stayed for 3 nights. Villa Viva was perfect for us with walking distance to most and safe neighborhood. It was fairly quiet and the breakfast was healthy. My kids missed the bacon. The room we had was large and there is no TV which allowed us more time to talk. WiFi was great! "
