"Raco del Pi is a decent, affordable hotel located in the Gothic Quarter. My 15 year old son and I stayed there for a week over Christmas. The rooms are small but serviceable. The breakfast was limited but helped us get a solid start to our day. We liked the afternoon coffee and sweets in the lounge. We made many simple meals in our room using the small fridge and desk. "Everything was great, but there is construction on the road in front of the hotel making access with a car a bit difficult. You then need to circle back around to get to the parking garage. My recommendation and what I would do in the future would be take a cab from the airport, enjoy my time in Barcelona, then return and pick up the car before exploring the rest of Spain."

"This property is across the street from first stop for the bus to the airport which made it very convenient. It is on the edge of the gothic quarter providing easy access to churches, shopping, dining, metro, and the Picasso Museum. The hotel was very well done! The doorman and desk staff were exceptionally helpful. Facilities were wonderful and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel. "
