"The property is small, but served our needs for one month stay. Like other comments the unit is central to all sites and easy to get around. This is an old dirty building and the hallways were dirty and smelled of rotting garbage. Exterior of building and lobby photos were deceiving. Our arrival time was delayed 3+ hours and due to time difference and language we were not met in a timely manner to receive the keys.Trying to communicate through VRBO is not acceptable. "LOCATION, LOCATION. This apartment is just off Las Ramblas and the plaza. We are seniors but managed the narrow staircase. As a bonus Mario was there when we arrived and left and he carried our luggage."

"I guess I didn’t realize this was a hiatal, but I must say, the service was great! They stayed late to let me in and gave me the key and showed me around. The room was fine, showers had plenty of hot water, kitchen well-stocked, but the toilets were a bit small. The location is good, not far from the main touristy things. Ala in all, it was a good stay."

"The Hotel HCC Taber was a great place to stay in Barcelona. It is close to Plaza Catalunya (4-5 blocks) with many restaurants and shops in-between. Casa Battlo is one block away. It was easy to find Ubers/Taxis and get around. The hotel was comfortable and the staff were all very nice. We particularly loved the breakfast. It has so many hot and cold options, including great coffee. It was a great area to be based in for a visit to Barcelona"
