"This was our second stay and it didn't disappoint. The only issue was on arrival with there being feather bedding in the room which we'd spectacled to be removed prior to arrival. However as soon as I mentioned it , it was resolved and non feather replacements were in place immediately. Service at breakfast and check in was excellent as was the super fresh breakfasts. Fresh fruit , beautifully cooked choice too. Staff were great and when I asked for some toothpaste as we'd forgotten ours we were provided with some , again immediately. The surroundings, furnishings are all great. Home cooked treats at the entrance are a lovely touch. Thanks guys and hope to see you again soon. "

"The Daffodil is conveniently located for easy access to Grasmere and the nearby lakes. It is ideal for a walking holiday and is surrounded by the beautiful Lakeland fells and lakes. The hotel staff are friendly and the hotel offers a good menu with a range of meals at reasonable prices. "
