"The main castle and grounds were beautiful. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The pool/sauna area was very nice, but we were unaware there was an additional charge to use the facility. The rooms we stayed in looked nothing like the pictures shown on Expedia and were not actually located in the castle. They were clean, but extremely small and very plain. "Hotel contacted me around 2:30pm on arrival day to give me chech-in instructions. For me a bit too late. Because you need a special APP to get your virtual key. So you need internet and enough battery in your phone... GPS didn't find correct way as it is in an industrial area... Studio fully furnished but in grey, beige and white colors so quite depressive. No pictures on walls. A/C a bit too noisy and fridge too near from bed. TV was progrmmed in russia :((( "

"We stayed here 4 nights and pretty much loved it. This is a Swedish style B&B; the restaurant rules are so complex that you cook for yourselves. It’s a full kitchen so that’s not hard. The food quantity is huge so you really get supplies for two meals a day. The area is full of medieval churches, Sweden’s biggest wildlife refuge and historic Sigtuna and Uppsala.
