"I have to admit this has been my best choice of hotels I have booked in Pitlochly, such a quaint intimate hotel with superb staff who couldn't do enough for you. We met the owner who has such a passion for her hotel . Rooms were fab and very clean , just recently upgraded to such a high standard and very reasonable rate.we will defo be back again."

"Such a warm welcome from the owner was much appreciated. Only stayed one night and had the best sleep in a long time; the bed was really comfy and location was very peaceful at night. The room looked onto the loch and beyond to the hills which was the highlight of our stay. Dinner was a set 2 or 3 course meal and absolutely delicious, especially the steak and venison dishes. Views of the loch were stunning and a perfect location to visit the beautiful surrounding area - Queen’s View is a must....

"The lodge is set in a very scenic setting next to Lock Aboyne and woodlands which you can walk around. The property itself owned and run by a lovely couple who pretty much seem to do everything themselves. The decor is dated and old fashioned but if you like golf this is a great option as the course setting is fabulous …it’s a 9 hole set over a huge expanse with inclines and some difficult hazards. We ate at the lodge one night and boat inn restaurant the next which is a 10 min drive down the...
