Clearly everybody who gives less than 5 stars is coming here with the wrong expectations. Read their website and you have all the information needed on what to expect. "Wonderful cottage in a great location with which to explore the Cairngorms. The cottage itself was clean, bright, easy to find, and had everything you could need. Check in was easy and the owners were very helpful and communicative. Most everything you could need is in Ballater, a couple of miles away, including a grocery, petrol station, health center, and a number of restaurants and pubs.
