"The property is gorgeous and really quiet. Being on the river provides a beautiful view. The sunrise over the river was absolutely fantastic. The complementary breakfast was extraordinary with a full menu being offered. All the staff were wonderfully helpful. It was a fantastic experience and wish I could have stayed longer. "This property is such a wonderful alternative to the usual chain facilities. It's right on the river and set on a nicely landscaped property. We didn't opt for a room with a river view, but there were plenty of public spaces to enjoy the view. We loved the library. It was very quiet when we were there - few guests, between weddings. The breakfast is at the sister facility a short walk down the street. We found a charming coffee shop nearby as well, Urban Bean. The big oak trees and blooming...

"My sister and I took our 95 year old mother away for a few days. April’s home was so bright and comfortable. We spent almost all of our time there playing cards and games.
