"We had the most wonderful experience at 8 Rooms House. It is reasonably well located and is a few stops from Konak on the metro. And is at 10 minute walk from the Metro. Our host, Neslihan, was super gracious and welcoming to us. The place was done up impeccably and was a great experience. Would highly recommend anyone visiting Izmir to stay here."

"Absolutely loved the Hot thermal waters. That is why I booked this hotel. They have 9 pools with temperatures ranging from 34 to 38 degrees Celsius. There is one big pool outside with fairly warm water and 8 pools indoors. Pools are open from 07:00 to 19:00 hours daily. Only thing was not happy with was the early closing for the pools. They could at least till 21:00 hours as I usually want to immerse myself before bed after a day of sight seeing and shopping! Spent a week there and it is walking...

"Expedia, hotels.com should have had a warning that not only does this hotel have no parking, but also no access to hotel by car. You literally have to walk blocks through streets (once you find a parking spot) and alleys to get to the hotel. Unless you travel with a backpack, not an ideal way to get there. That said, housekeeping is every other day, minor detail. Room is so tiny that we kept luggage was at the entryway to the room. Breakfast service was lovely."

"Paid parking was available but a bit far from the hotel. Also, window insulation was poor. No fridge in the room to cool your drinks. Mini fridge with free water was available downstairs in the hall. Quality materials used for decoration. Traditional house vibe. AC was nice and quiet. Small safe not suitable for laptops or tablets. Night time entrance with keypad was available but narrow hallway after. "

"It’s a motel not a hotel in the middle of old Urla run by a retired couple. Very authentic area and plenty of cafe shops around. If you are not comfortable to drive in very tight alleyways, this is not the place for u. Parking is hard specially at night but there is a paid parking lot near by for $8 a night. New and clean motel. Rooms are small but do the job. Family of 5 stayed there for 11 nights, in two rooms. Owners are sweet and do their best to accommodate. Yes, I would stay there again...

"It was a great experience to stay at Suolo. If you are expecting a quite place you shouldn’t stay there but if you like tones of Turkish culture that’s your place. There is a great cocktail bar in the garden of the hotel which is called 1890. I highly recommend that place to everyone who loves cocktails and good music. Room was clean, cozy and designed perfectly. Staff members were lovely and very helpful in every little situation. "

"It was basically like staying in a museum if you like that sort of thing. Luckily my wife and I do as we are teachers! The staff was wonderful and the decor and history was very compelling! The location was okay for what we went there for and the room was comfortable enough. Just remember....it is a historic residence. Not modern...except for the addition of showers and electric sockets. Only issue I take with it is the parking situation. There is nowhere to park. Luckily one of the porters...
