"We stayed for 2 nights at The Rutland Arms. Overall a great hotel. Parking at the hotel is very limited so you need to arrive at just the right time to get in their car park (between 11am-12pm). Otherwise you need to park in public car park nearby, which are plentiful and only charge £1 for overnight parking. The food & service were brilliant. Decor in main areas was really eye catching. "If you are thinking about staying at The Hunting Tower to enjoy the area, view and to visit Chatsworth House with unlimited access then this is for you. We absolutely loved our stay, such a unique building and well taken care of, considering it's age, it was all extremely comfortable. It was easy to collect the key as instructed but on arriving at Chatsworth the lady in the kiosk was not aware of what we should do next or to be able to navigate us to the property which was a little odd, so...

"Our stay was fine. My other half became cold during the night. I had to switch the fridge off as it was noisey and we could hear road noise in the morning. The engineered oak floor requires attention. All minor issues and overall our stay was fine."

"Lovely stay. The staff was great! Everyone went out of their way to be kind and helpful, even helping when our plans to tour local sites got messed up by a very heavy winter storm that caused power outages. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey, but excellent quality and our servers could not have been better. Breakfast every morning was delicious and, again, our server was lovely. Would recommend this hotel if touring Derbyshire area. "

"We stayed at the Pilsley Inn in order to visit Chatsworth House. The inn is walking distance from the farm shop and from the house itself. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and the staff took great care of us."
