Had a Murder mystery dinner and the Inn was part of the setting. People in town were friendly with the exception of the brewery. It was handy to have restaurants menus available to review. Kids want to come back."

"We have stayed at the Elkader Jail House many times and the Harstad Suite is a great room for the 4 of us. The large kitchen and family space on the first floor provide plenty of space for everyone to get together and relax. Its nearby my family and takes the stress off anyone needing to make space for all of us to sleep. Its comfortable, clean and an easy to walk downtown. We'll be back soon!"

This is an excellent property if you have kids because they have everything you need including kids games, toys, pack-n-play, baby gates, kids dishes, and more! "Awesome little place on the river. Fishing was good, quiet and really enjoyed the fire pit. Located next to train tracks and trains rolled through a couple times in the early morning, didn’t really bother us though as we knew the tracks were there when we booked it. Overall, great place!"

"We had a great stay at Black Sheep for our hunting trip. The place was just what we needed to have space for 3 of us and a dog and was nice and close to a few boat launches we used. And Hannah was so great to communicate with thru the process since we had never been in or around Bagley before."
