"We enjoyed the cottage espically thr cosy log burner , the garden is not good if you struggle with walking up very steep steps , there was a very weird smell in the bathroom , cottage very rural , but we enjoyed walks , the main bedroom bed is very squeaky bit uncomfortable , but we did enjoy our stay away "

When I asked Rachel if there was a coffee maker or French press in the home she said no and then messaged me that she’d gone out to get one for our stay. How lovely is that!? She left us a couple of treats as well. The cottage was cozy and quiet and had everything we needed for our winter retreat. "We booked a long stay, with our 2 Dogs, as we were 'Between Houses' from mid November to mid January. The cottage is a lovely grade 2 listed 3 bed stone cottage full of character with wood beams and thick walls. Even with the Snow and very cold weather the cottage was very cozy.Kitchen has all the amenities and a well stocked cupboard.Our Host Lynne was truly fantastic and very helpful with anything we needed.The area is beautiful with the Leeds Liverpool canal a 10 min walk away and the...

"Really nice cottage, all useful things provided plus a selection of treats! Dog friendly, in fact the owner went over & above. Would stay again, great place for walking & local pubs, some you will need a car for, but that wasn't an issue. Many thanks for sorting out my inability to put the washing machine just on spin!"
