"Croft cottage was sympathetically renovated to a good standard. Some of the furniture was well used but in keeping. Amy put the heating on for us prior to arrival, and we used one of the log burners too, so it was much warmer than I anticipated from viewing the photos. The location was great too; it feels rural but is in walking distance (at least in one direction!) of Silsden, with all the usual amenities of a mid-size town. Two things stood out as odd, though: 1) The beds were not made up for...

"This property was well position in Skipton. We stayed here whilst attending a family wedding and it was perfect for our needs and accessible to all the places we needed to be."

"Could not fault our stay in this wonderful cottage and stunning location. A haven for walkers and for those that like peace and quiet in the countryside. "

"This cottage was beautiful. Clean, comfortable and homely with some lovely extra touches. The owner was very responsive to messages and quickly sorted a couple of small settling in queries we had. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We enjoyed the cottage espically thr cosy log burner , the garden is not good if you struggle with walking up very steep steps , there was a very weird smell in the bathroom , cottage very rural , but we enjoyed walks , the main bedroom bed is very squeaky bit uncomfortable , but we did enjoy our stay away "

"We had an amazing stay, loved the atmosphere and the view from the property, the pictures don’t quite capture how cozy it was. The garden is fenced and chicken wire all around so was very secure for our pet. we would love to stay here again and would definitely recommend to friends "

"Outstanding!! Place is lovely and comfy and well decorated. Kitchen and house is well stocked and views are nice. Parking next door is restaurant car park is easy. Communication and access was easy and good. "

"Just what we needed to visit our daughter at Huddersfield Uni. We were looking for something on the lovely countryside around Holmfirth and this ticked all the boxes. Easy check in, plenty of options on just eat and a beautiful, characterful terrace with enclosed yard, perfect for our dog."

The cottage is delightful with plenty of room for four adults. The cupboards were well stocked and we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. Lynne even offered to get us anything we specifically needed before we arrived. Five star service! "

"Really nice cottage, all useful things provided plus a selection of treats! Dog friendly, in fact the owner went over & above. Would stay again, great place for walking & local pubs, some you will need a car for, but that wasn't an issue. Many thanks for sorting out my inability to put the washing machine just on spin!"

"Very secluded, which I loved. Jeanne was extremely helpful and directions were spot on. Lovely old house, with touches of times gone by and all mod cons as well. Cows and chickens and a lovely garden for book reading. Horse riding in the dales was an added bonus. Thank you for letting me stay."
