"Lovely hotel and grounds with a great breakfast and very helpful staff. The property was very nicely decorated for Christmas. There were even alpacas in the grounds. The only problem was getting woken up one morning at 5.30 by food delivery staff with trolleys underneath the bedroom window."

"Wonderful hosts, beautiful area, linens and cooking utensils provided, as well as a few tea bags and coffee sachets for a cuppa and a sit down when you arrive! easy self check in with amenable hosts. 10/15 min walk to the local high street, and ample parking space. a great self catering stay - does the job, i would happily recommend and stay again. thank you!"

"It was a lovely gated community , safe and serene surrounded by nature . A bit far from train station though if you don’t have a car . Harold wood station is 9 minutes drive where you can catch the Elizabeth Line . The only concern was that a fob should be given to long term guests to get in and out of the main gate , that was a hassle . Otherwise I would highly recommend this stay ."

"The Hotel was fine and the people were very helpful. I was disappointed to have to pay £4 each way for the courtesy bus. Clearly it isn't a courtesy bus and I think it is unfair, and misleading not to point our to people booking the hotel that this payment has to be made. Especially as with this fee there were other options. The other warning would be that an Uber take 20-30 minutes to arrive. Not your fault, but would be helpful to remind guests who are booking in to plan ahead for an uber. Otherwise great. David"
