"I stayed for two nights. The staff were fantastic, really friendly and always making sure everything was ok. The room was a good size, and the bed was really comfortable. Great bathroom too. I had breakfast and dinner there. Breakfast was limited. The cafetiere had great coffee in it, but food was just some small baked pastries, a bit of cereal, and one type of ham and cheese. Dinner was a great experience though. Can highly recommend their fish pie! The wine and drinks selection was really good. Just a couple of points for improvement. 1).If arriving at night it can be difficult to understand where to go as the signage isn't easy to see. Putting lights on the signs, and then have a sign on the doors leading to the courtyard would help. 2) The room didn't have a desk to work on or drawers to put things in. There was plenty of space for something like that. The woods around the location are lovely, and I know they have plans to develop the surroundings. I'd love to go back again when the work is done as I did enjoy my stay overall."
