"Room was lovely, and fairly quiet for above a pub. When we arrived there was several sets of bedding’s and sheets drying in our room over chairs and a clothes airier, must have been left by housekeeping but not in issue we just folded and set aside. Only downfall was that the shower head didn’t stay up. We ate and drank in the pub also, food was absolutely gorgeous both evening meal and breakfast. "

"A fabulous place to stay. Lovely sitting room never saw anyone use it would be much better utilised as a laundry ! We have been traveling for a week and would have been great to be able to get some clothes washed . Also heating was a bit of an issue no heaters on this morning and it was 1 degree !! There is a fan heater supplied and a blanket but the room then becomes stuffy . Great location and very clean but pack a hot water bottle 😊"

"I received a really warm welcome. The hotel even changed my room so I could have a bath. The pub downstairs has a nice atmosphere. As you have to expect from an old building above a pub, you do get a little noise from the other rooms. Overall, excellent value for money and would stay again. "
