"This is the second year staying in this house for Thanksgiving. It is perfect for our family. There are plenty of bedrooms and spaces to hang out. The main kitchen is a dream to cook in. Having a second kitchen in the basement is perfect for those things that take a long time to cook as well as the extra counter prep space and fridge. "This property was exceptionally clean and lacking nothing. I have never been in a place so well stocked with dishes, pans, toaster, coffee maker, so many spices and just everything we could possibly need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together with family. It was also nice that we could take our dogs. They loved walking down to the water."

"This is an extremely accommodating home with bathrooms in all the bedrooms and never ending space. There are actually 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. There is enough space for 22 people to sleep in beds. Not just the 12. Recommendation to future renters is to reach out to Ashley to make sure you can bring your large group! "We were thankful to find this property after our FL trip was cancelled. The home was nice and very well stocked. It was so well stocked that we didn’t have room for the things we brought. The dock and view were a very nice addition. It was our first time at Smith Mountain Lake and it didn’t disappoint. The home was very comfortable. Absolutely appreciate the living room furniture. "We had a wonderful time at this property! All my questions were answered quickly before we arrived. There were a lot of things to keep us occupied during our stay with lots of family ranging from 9 months old to 65 years old! It's a little far from places, but the Mexican place down the road is awesome! My mom is in an electric wheel chair and she did great here with the accessibility and open floor plan. Very clean and just as pictured / described!"
